Traditional Chinese Medicine is a vast, overwhelming collection of knowledge that one could devote a lifetime to and still not master completely. My responsibility is to trust the process and have confidence in what my own experience with the medicine brings forth in the form of bodywork and acupuncture. I provide support and fine attuning so clients can find their intended path in wellness and life. I am grateful for my education and all the incredible teachers along the way. I live this medicine and strive to deepen my knowledge and understanding of it everyday.
Chinese medicine, in most cases, is a more holistic approach to healing than Western Medicine. I give a thorough intake which includes many questions about health history, diet, sleep, digestion, the reproductive system, and emotional well being. I will listen to the pulse, examine the tongue and put together a treatment plan specific to each individual. It will take a range of 2-12 treatments to make significant progress. Successful treatment takes a joint effort from me, the practitioner, to tap into the root of your dis-ease and you, the patient, to reclaim responsibility for your health and make the necessary adjustments in order to reach desired health goals. I encourage clients to face what isn’t working for them health wise, and in life, and be willing to change those patterns to achieve a healthy, vibrant relationship in body, mind and soul.
